About this role

Create maximum value from Philips IP portfolio through licensing and other commercial IP-based activities
Participate in the conception and execution of appropriate IP strategies
Support and handle IP matters in a wide range of collaborations with third parties and litigation
Evaluate invention disclosures to provide optimal protection and generate maximum long-term value to Philips
Prepare, file, and prosecute high quality patent applications meeting international standards
Maintain a substantial and active prosecution docket of patent applications
Support infringement and validity analysis, including claim chart mapping to technical standards
Support analysis of third-party patents in the relevant technology domains

Master’s or PHD degree
Technical background in electrical engineering or physics
Subject matter expertise in cellular connectivity technologies (3GPP)
Knowledge of 3GPP-RAN levels
Qualified European patent attorney
At least 5 years of work experience in IP drafting and prosecution, portfolio management and counseling, IP litigations and/or IP Licensing
Excellent analytical and intellectual capabilities
Excellent verbal and written communication in English
Flexibility and adaptability to work in a multicultural environment
