Implements strategies set by leadership to drive new product introductions, promotional programs, and training in the territory.
Selling 3M products including Abrasives, Tapes, Masking Systems and Safety.
Supports the retailer/distributor along with the end-user (home improvement trades) to provide solutions to improve job-site efficiencies and training with our portfolios.
Presenting relevant information and products to customers in face-to-face presentations as well as phone calls or e-mails.
Demonstrating to customers how to use 3M products and how they will add value to their company.
Lead and manage calls with professional paint and contractors and distributors (retail stores), and manage key stakeholders at each of these levels.
Willingness to be on-call to support your customers need in your geography.
Driving a company vehicle, which will require pre-employment and ongoing review of motor vehicle history for candidates who are offered and hired for this position.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
Current, valid Driver’s License.
Master’s degree in business administration from an accredited institution
Three (3) years of territory sales in a private, public, government or military environment
Skills include presentation skills across many types of customers and end-users, strong data analytics and negotiation skills.
Experience translating customer needs into creative solutions.
Ability and willingness to prioritize multiple customers, self-motivate, and be held accountable for setting and meeting goals.
