Preparation of various monthly financial management reports
Review monthly reconciliation of general ledger accounts
Effectively managing the AR & AP cycles
Review and approve month-end journal entries
Provide analysis and respond to queries from business units
Assist in the preparation of annual budget and quarterly forecasts
Ensure compliance with minimum set of standard financial controls
Review current procedures and processes for improvement opportunities
Manage team members by assigning and prioritizing their daily tasks
Coach and mentor team members, providing training and development opportunities
Prepare statutory financial statements in coordination with 3rd Party
Coordinate and work with external auditors, financial compliance, banks and other officials as necessary
Complete ad hoc requests and special projects as they arise

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Accounting/Finance or similar field
Fluent in English
Strong technical accounting background with thorough knowledge of IFRS
Must have strong analytical and organizational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
Strong interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skills
CPA, CA, ACCA preferred
Minimum of 7~10 years’ experience in public accounting and/or private industry required
Experience managing teams and working in cross-functional environments
Intermediate proficiency in German preferred
Strong understanding of financial reporting
Experience working in a life science company preferred
