Lead pre-sales technical engagements, including solution design, architecture, and positioning of networking and security solutions
Partner closely with sales teams, customers, and ecosystem partners to align technical strategies with business outcomes
Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and proof-of-concept engagements to validate solutions
Develop and respond to RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs, building compelling and competitive proposals
Build and maintain strong relationships with customer technical stakeholders and decision-makers
Provide enablement, training, and technical guidance to partners and customer engineering teams
Stay current on industry trends, competitive offerings, and emerging technologies to effectively position solutions
Requirements
Minimum of 10 years of experience in a technical pre-sales role (Sales Engineer / Systems Engineer)
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Strong hands-on experience with Juniper networking solutions across routing, switching, and/or security domains
Deep expertise in enterprise networking, including: Routing & switching (IGPs, BGP, Layer 2/3 VPNs)
WAN technologies (MPLS, traffic engineering concepts)
Data center networking (EVPN/VXLAN, fabric architectures)
Network security principles and solutions (NGFW, IPSec, DDoS protection, etc.)
Proven experience designing and consulting on network architectures, including bill of materials and implementation strategies
Experience operating and implementing enterprise-scale campus, branch, and/or data center networks
Strong customer-facing experience, including technical presentations, whiteboarding, and executive-level engagement
Experience supporting pre-sales cycles including solution positioning, proposal development, and competitive differentiation
