Work collaboratively with the Head of Debt Capital Markets on Relationship Management activities
Manage existing and create new relationships with lead lenders
Stay informed of financing requests of large corporate food and agriculture accounts
Implement business development and marketing plans to source debt capital purchase opportunities
Correspond with lead lenders and attend lender meetings
Support and provide guidance to the DCM Portfolio Analysts
Create and execute business development strategies to manage relationships with banks and investors
Maintain expertise in assigned market segments and industry trends
Participate in training and development of other staff members

BA/BS degree with emphasis on agriculture, finance, business administration, or equivalent
8-10 years of progressively responsible banking or related agricultural lending experience, preferably in a sales related function
Established network of relationships in the farm credit or agricultural lending industries
Demonstrated credit and analytical skills; working knowledge of agricultural lending principles and practices, and association and FCS operating policies and procedures
Knowledge of FCA regulations, association, and district policies and procedures
Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal, and analytical skills
Experience using PC, word processing, and electronic spreadsheet software
Must be proficient in organizing and prioritizing work to meet deadlines.
