About this role
Role Overview
Developing and maintaining structural integrity requirements and technical guidance for mechanical components
Applying cross-disciplinary knowledge (design, materials, analysis, manufacturing, inspection) to ensure component reliability
Contributing to structural integrity safety case development, including technical arguments and supporting evidence
Supporting design teams to interpret and embed integrity requirements into designs
Collaborating with internal teams, external partners, and the supply chain to deliver integrated solutions
Supporting regulatory engagement activities through high-quality technical input
Managing your own workload to deliver against programme, cost, and quality expectations
Requirements
A degree or HND in a relevant engineering or technical discipline
Experience applying structural integrity principles within complex engineering environments
Broad understanding of pressure-retaining components and relevant design codes (e.g. ASME, EN, PED/PSSR)
Ability to construct and present logical, evidence-based safety arguments
Strong planning, coordination, and stakeholder engagement skills
