Responsible for the development and execution of sourcing strategies to achieve the best total value for our National Retail and Indirect Sales channels.
Work in an agile way, ensuring the best outcomes for our indirect sales agents and distributors while maintaining the integrity of our global standards.
Manage the seven steps of sourcing, including spend analysis, market research, and RFX management specifically for Channel Partner requirements.
Support Senior Managers in drafting and managing contract-related documents such as Statements of Work (SOW), Letters of Authorisation (LOAs), and master lease agreements.
Perform detailed financial and business analysis of supplier proposals to support the development of Verizon’s supply base and VCG growth trajectory.
Partner closely with Sales Operations, CSO, Finance, and Legal teams to translate business needs into actionable sourcing requirements.
Execute Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) activities for assigned channel partners and distributors, ensuring contract performance and ethical working relationships.
Leverage market dynamics and provide benchmark data to help the leadership team mitigate risk and optimise partnership performance.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience.
Experience in Strategic Sourcing or Supply Chain.
Relevant experience in Foundational knowledge of channel partner models, including referral/reseller ecosystems or distributor agreements.
Strong understanding of legal language and terminologies related to contracting.
Proficiency in analytical tools (e.g. Excel, Google Suite) to conduct spend and bid analysis.
