Role Overview
- Servicing and repairing JBT Marel-sold equipment at customer sites
- Perform technical mechanical, electrical, and controls work as a Filler and Seamer Technician
- Manage field service activities surrounding these product lines while expanding and growing the business
- Perform maintenance and setup work on JBT Marel products including Powder Filling, Liquid Filling, Seaming, and Blending machinery
- Set up and adjust machines in the field to equipment specifications
- Perform machine audits, repairs, and preventative scheduled maintenance
- Install, commission, and set up JBT Marel filler/seamer products in customer facilities
- Diagnose problems, dismantle machines, replace defective parts, and reassemble machines
Requirements
- 4-6 years of mechanical/electrical/controls experience OR field service experience including working knowledge of canning filler/seamer product lines
- Two-year technical school training or related field experience preferred
- Basic computer skills
- including iPad and smart phone, use of email, Word, Excel, etc.
- Experience working on seamers, Blenders or Fillers, and Capping equipment preferred.
- Manufacturing experience in food and beverage industry preferred.
