Audit Manager – Private Banking, Wealth Management

Role Overview

• Supervise the audit engagement team and support them through coaching
• Deliver a flexible and risk-based audit plan that addresses regulatory requirements
• Provide quality, efficient and effective assurance and influence business managers to improve controls
• Lead and coach audit team to deliver audits within budget and on time
• Leverage audit methodology and tools
• Manage key stakeholders throughout audit engagements
• Support assurance over significant change initiatives

Requirements

• An experienced internal auditor or risk manager with extensive experience within Private Banking, Wealth Management or Asset Management
• Thorough grounding in risk management principles
• A meticulously investigative approach
• The ability to demonstrate leading a team in delivering projects while keeping a firm hand on budget, schedule, and quality
• A proactive approach towards identifying and promoting talent
• A proactive mindset in identifying emerging risks and areas of focus
• The ability to support and supervise a team through coaching, feedback, and development
• Proven stakeholder management skills including the confidence to engage with and challenge senior stakeholders
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• A sound understanding of relevant regulatory requirements impacting Private Banking and Wealth Management
