Role Overview
Manages repair and maintenance of manufacturing facilities and equipment including: Installing, repairing, and maintaining mechanical and electronic equipment, tools, and instruments.
Installing, repairing, and maintaining manufacturing facilities infrastructure.
Making/machining replacement tools and parts for manufacturing operations.
Planning and prioritizing work orders and scheduling overall repair and maintenance activities to minimize production downtime and disruptions.
Responsible for the monitoring and achievement of operational and/or financial results for their area of responsibility.
Responsible for people management actions such as hiring, terminating, rewarding, training, and developing employees.
Progression within the levels reflects an increase in scope and responsibilities as well as growth in business and industry experience, process and people leadership capabilities, and broad technical expertise.
Adapts departmental plans and priorities to meet short-term challenges.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field is a plus; equivalent work experience accepted in lieu of degree.
5–7 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or similar industrial environment.
3+ years of leadership experience overseeing maintenance teams or skilled trades.
Strong working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems used in production settings.
Experience developing and managing preventive and predictive maintenance programs using a CMMS.
The candidate must be able to perform the essential functions of the position satisfactorily, with or without a reasonable accommodation.
