Collaborate with Product Validation, Product Strategy, Project Management, and Compatibility for creation & maintenance of virtual non-production and production serial orders in the sales systems (VOP) and mainframe (IMACS) to meet the needs of the Engineering PAR project.
Review compatibility rules impacting Project Serials, determine root cause of the issue and facilitate a timely resolution to ensure smooth project launch.
Responsible for Product Validation & Manufacturing Engineering Trucks and Sales Cabs, collaborating with PVE, Product Strategy and Engineering to ensure vehicles meet all testing requirements over the validation cycle.
Perform Engineering order translations on orders and process necessary spec / ECF updates on all project serials to ensure correct data codes, content, and resolve any frame layout conflicts through communication with EPM & PS.
Evaluate and update department tools, processes and procedures in order to continuously improve.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of experience; OR an Associates degree and 5 years of related experience, is required.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills required.
Strong truck product knowledge.
Effective communicator with good networking skills required.
Thrives on getting the details right, accuracy, and precision.
Sales Order Processing & Databook, Engineering & Manufacturing Release, Product Definitions, and Vehicle Specs experience.
Adaptable to a variable customer service-oriented work environment fielding dozens of customer requests per day.
Expert knowledge of Engineering IMACS screens and processes required.
Experience with full cycle product development at DTNA (PAR projects).
