As a Senior User Researcher, you are responsible for the research activities within a thematic area.
You lead the team in translating research insights into digital products and services that address users’ needs.
Additionally, you take on leadership responsibilities and represent DigitalService at public events.
You lead research initiatives from planning and design through communicating findings and continuously improving our products and services using a comprehensive repertoire of methods.
You are responsible for the quality of user research activities in your area and enable both non-user researchers and user researchers in your domain to deliver high-quality work.
Requirements
You have experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in an agile environment and involving team colleagues in research activities.
You have expertise in qualitative and quantitative research methods, including qualitative interviews, usability testing, surveys, and user journey mapping.
You can recruit and involve all types of users in appropriate research activities to help teams understand the diversity of users of government/public services. Ideally, you are familiar with public sector projects.
You are able to deliver high-quality research results within short timeframes.
You have initial leadership experience, for example in coaching roles or previous personnel responsibility.
You are fluent in German (C1) and English (C1). We use both English and German in our day-to-day work.
