Role Overview
- Lead and deliver land development and civil infrastructure projects across design and construction phases
- Manage and oversee the preparation of civil engineering designs, drawings and documentation
- Provide technical leadership across projects including industrial subdivisions, roads, drainage, earthworks, municipal works, water and sewer reticulation and civil site works
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, authorities, sub‑consultants and contractors
- Mentor and develop junior engineers, supporting technical excellence and professional growth
- Work collaboratively within a diverse, fast‑paced, multidisciplinary environment
- Ensure designs comply with Australian and Victorian standards, council requirements and authority approvals
Requirements
- Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering
- Part A & B
- Water Supply and Sewer Design Assurance Scheme – Accreditation Key Personnel (MRWA)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Skills in the design and documentation of civil infrastructure to Australian and Victorian standards
- Demonstrated experience liaising with clients, sub-consultants and contractors
- Design skills with a background in roads, carparks, earthworks, drainage, water and sewer utility services designs, pavement design
- Advanced knowledge of industry design software, 12D and AutoCAD (preferred)
- Experience in the construction phase of civil infrastructure projects
- Thorough understanding of Council, Service Authority and DTP requirements
