Role Overview
- Support our Nuclear Projects – Oak Ridge Group
- Deliver safe and innovative solutions at complex nuclear cleanup and production sites
- Manage program management, decommissioning, environmental remediation, waste and nuclear material management, nuclear operations, consulting, and engineering and construction
- Work on specialty machinery design
- Perform tasks requiring intermittent sitting, standing, walking, bending, squatting, climbing, etc.
- Travel to field and construction job sites as needed
Requirements
- 10 or more years of experience
- B.S. Engineering from an ABET accredited engineering school
- Knowledge and experience with specialized mechanical equipment
- Experience with management of scope, schedule, and budget of individual projects
- Ability to follow established Amentum’s quality procedures and ensures that all work accomplished under their control is accomplished under established quality procedures
- Experience working within a quality system based on ISO 9000 or NQA-1
- Knowledge of machine design, selection of machine elements (bearings, seals, etc.) and machine controls (hydraulic, electrical, etc.)
- Competent using discipline-specific technical software such as: SOLIDWORKS, Creo, ANSYS, etc.
- Competent using Microsoft Office software.
- US citizen required.
