Role Overview
- Design and build scalable, secure, resilient, and reusable software-based cloud infrastructure platform components supporting high‑availability systems
- Lead cloud engineering initiatives for across architecture, build, deployment, and operations
- Define and enforce cloud standards, patterns, and operational best practices
- Define and create automation using infrastructure‑as‑code and CI/CD pipelines
- Partner with application teams to enable cloud‑native and hybrid solutions
- Ensure infrastructure platform meets security, compliance, and regulatory requirements
- Monitor performance, availability, and cost optimization across environments
- Troubleshoot complex production issues and lead root‑cause analysis
- Mentor senior engineers and guide technical decision‑making across teams
Requirements
- Advanced cloud engineering experience delivering production platforms at enterprise scale
- Hands-on experience architecting and building infrastructure in a large company using Terraform Enterprise, Harness, and Python
- Strong expertise with public cloud services, networking, identity, and security controls
- Hands‑on proficiency with infrastructure‑as‑code and configuration management tools
- Experience building and operating containerized and orchestrated workloads
- Proven ability to design for reliability, scalability, observability, and cost efficiency
- Experience integrating cloud platforms with CI/CD and DevOps practices
- Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to lead through complex technical challenges
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
