Design, model, and implement optimal traffic layouts for movement of aviation heavy transport equipment, integration cells, and test areas, focusing on safety, asset optimization, and minimizing wasted movement and transportation.
Analyze and define the end to end flow of heavy transportation and cranes. Create detailed value stream maps for current and future state operations to identify and eliminate bottlenecks, reduce lead times, and optimize process sequencing.
Develop and maintain detailed capacity models to determine production rate capabilities, identify constraints (equipment, labor, floorspace), and inform capital equipment and workforce planning.
Champion and lead lean manufacturing initiatives (e.g., Kaizen events, 5S, standard work, material presentation strategies) to drive continuous improvements in quality, cost, and delivery.
Establish, track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as cycle time, takt time, first pass yield, and labor hours per unit to drive data-informed decisions.
