Role Overview
- Analyze and underwrite new and renewal business
- Own and grow your book of business
- Solicit and analyze new business opportunities
- Underwrite and execute renewals
- Develop and maintain strong business relationships with brokers and clients
- Assist in the development of underwriting products and marketing materials
- Collaborate with management, claims, and actuarial teams
- Contribute to the analysis and review of underwriting practices
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- 6+ years of Financial Lines underwriting experience
- Excellent analytical and computer skills
- Knowledge of the current D&O insurance market
- Strong negotiation, written, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to assess financial stability
- Ability to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory controls
- Time management and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment
