Software Engineer III

Role Overview

• Develops information systems by designing, developing, and installing software solutions
• Improves operations by conducting systems analysis and recommending changes in policies and procedures
• Provides production support of applications in production by troubleshooting issues, proposing solutions, developing fixes, and migrating solutions
• Codes programming logic for new or existing solutions according to design specifications
• Handles installation, configuration, development, monitoring, and/or upgrade of assigned software products
• Maintains up-to-date records of issues with existing code
• Monitors quality and performance of applications through testing and maintenance
• Identifies opportunities for process and procedure enhancements and communicates them to drive efficiency

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field
• 5 to 8 years of related experience, or equivalent combination
• Latest knowledge on new technology and computer systems
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines
• Ability to communicate complex procedures to colleagues
• Close attention to detail and desire to probe further into data
