Lead benefits eligible recruitment efforts for University Housing and Dining (UHD)
Serve as a primary liaison for applicants, the university community, and hiring managers
Utilize innovative strategies to develop and implement effective recruitment initiatives
Manage and screen applications for various UHD positions in HRIS system
Attend intake calls, create a matrix, recommend candidates for phone screen and interviews, schedule interviews, review and approve interview scores/feedback, and disposition candidates
Coordinate pre-offer steps, including conducting reference checks and verification of employment
Review and draft offer letters
Oversee and coordinate pre-onboarding process for benefit eligible hires
Advise managers and supervisors on HR processes and requirements for employment-related matters
Coordinate/liaise with other campus departments
Monitor requisitions and assist in increasing applicant flow by sourcing candidates using a variety of search methods
Assist with marketing and advertisement of open positions
Identify and source top talent utilizing various job boards
Assist applicants and new hires with completing and submitting required paperwork
Proactively lead recruitment efforts to grow positive brand awareness
Attend career fairs and hiring events
Develop and provide regular recruiting activity reports
Handle sensitive and secure documents appropriately
Ensure proper documentation is maintained in accordance with UT record retention policies
Manage collection of recurring employment documents and files
Partner with Senior HR Coordinator on recruitment updates, communication, hiring manager updates, and candidate flow data
Provide top quality service at all times to internal and external customers
Create and implement efficiencies that have a positive impact on customer service
Provide administrative support functions for the HR office
Complete special projects and work independently and as a team on nonrecurring and ongoing projects
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Social Sciences, Public Administration, or a related field
Two or more years of experience in Human Resources Administration or related field
Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate
Experience working in dining, food and beverage, hospitality, and/or catering environments (preferred)
Passionate about the candidate experience while attracting and recruiting top talent (preferred)
Three or more years of experience in human resources administration (preferred)
Experience utilizing various job boards to source and recruit candidates (preferred)
Experience recruiting a high volume of applicants (preferred)
Demonstrated organization and prioritization skills (preferred)
Initiative in taking ownership of time-sensitive HR projects through successful completion (preferred)
