Role Overview
- Coordinates and implements care of patients within the outpatient infusion department
- Set up patients with an IV or other infusion device
- Collaborates with in-hospital pharmacy for medication dosage
- Educates patients regarding their illness and treatment
- Evaluates progress toward patient outcomes
Requirements
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 3 months
- Licensed Registered Professional Nurse (RN)
- Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 3 months
- Oncology experience
