Role Overview
- Lead Natera’s infrastructure as the Manager of Platform Engineering.
- Oversee Cloud Engineering, Orchestration and Kafka workstreams.
- Define and execute the roadmap for Cloud, Orchestration, and Kafka ecosystems.
- Ensure high internal satisfaction by treating the platform as a world-class product.
- Manage and mentor a high-performing team of engineers.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with stakeholders.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in Cloud, Platform, or Infrastructure Engineering.
- 2-3 years in a leadership role managing high-performing teams.
- Proven track record of treating infrastructure as a product.
- Deep expertise in AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
- Expert-level knowledge of Kafka/MSK and orchestration services.
- Practical experience in applying AI techniques to streamline operational workflows.
- Self-sufficient and comfortable with ambiguity.
