Lead interconnection strategy and execution for utility-scale BESS, solar, hybrid, and large-load projects across North American power markets.
Manage the full interconnection lifecycle, including site screening, queue positioning, application submission, study review, milestone management, and commercial operation readiness.
Evaluate transmission availability, congestion exposure, curtailment risk, hosting capacity, and network upgrade requirements to support project siting and investment decisions.
Coordinate and manage utility and ISO/RTO interactions throughout feasibility, system impact, facilities, and deliverability study phases.
Review and interpret power system studies including load flow, short-circuit, contingency, stability, and deliverability analyses.
Translate study results into actionable recommendations — including network upgrade costs, risk mitigation strategies, and schedule impacts — to support commercial and investment decisions.
Coordinate external consultants performing transmission modeling and interconnection studies while ensuring consistency, quality, and schedule alignment.
Monitor evolving ISO/RTO tariffs, FERC policies, cluster study reforms, transmission planning activities, and market rule changes impacting project economics or development timelines.
Manage utility and ISO/RTO interconnection applications through the full lifecycle: submission, data validation, study coordination, milestone tracking, and agreement execution.
Support transmission and interconnection due diligence activities for acquisitions, partnerships, and strategic development opportunities.
Identify and communicate interconnection-related risks, schedule impacts, withdrawal exposure, and upgrade cost sensitivities to internal stakeholders and executive leadership.
Collaborate with engineering and delivery teams to ensure grid compliance and successful project execution through commissioning and energization.
Develop standardized tools, processes, and best practices for evaluating interconnection opportunities across multiple markets.
