Monitor and grow our social media presence by tracking performance metrics and identifying what's working
Manage and optimise Meta (Facebook/Instagram) advertising campaigns, including audience targeting, budget management, and performance reporting
Engage with our online community by responding to comments and direct messages in a timely, on-brand manner
Write blog posts for our website that reflect our destination expertise, support our SEO strategy, and are written in Eclipse Travel's brand voice
Maintain a consistent content calendar and flag any content gaps or opportunities to the team
Set up, manage, and optimise Google Ads campaigns including campaign structure, ad groups, keyword lists, and ad copy
Monitor landing pages and destination URLs to ensure quality, accuracy, and conversion performance
Use Google Ads Scripts, Automated Rules, and reporting tools to monitor performance and flag anomalies
Review the Recommendations tab manually rather than auto-applying, ensuring changes serve our goals rather than Google's defaults
Produce regular reports on campaign performance, search terms, geographic insights, and ROI
Stay across Google Ads platform updates and relevant third-party tools and recommend adoption where appropriate
Implement on-site SEO updates to our WordPress website as directed by our SEO agency, including meta data, page content, internal linking, and technical fixes
Maintain a clear log of completed optimisations and outstanding tasks
Ensure website content remains accurate and up to date
Support our positioning in AI-powered search tools such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews by following best-practice guidance from our SEO agency
Coordinate email campaigns and automated flows using MailerLite
Segment audiences, maintain subscriber list health, and ensure compliance with email marketing regulations
Support AI-assisted personalisation and segmentation in email campaigns
Monitor performance metrics and contribute to reporting and ongoing optimisation
Use AI tools such as Claude and Canva AI day-to-day to support content ideation, copywriting drafts, and campaign asset production
Build and maintain AI agent assistants for the marketing team, correctly structuring files, skills, and knowledge bases so they produce consistent, on-brand output
Identify opportunities to streamline marketing workflows through AI and automation, and brief our internal tech team on more complex builds
Support the documentation of automated processes so the team can use, troubleshoot, and refine them
Stay across emerging AI marketing tools and recommend adoption where they improve efficiency, output quality, or campaign performance
Requirements
2+ years' experience in a digital marketing role, with demonstrable hands-on experience across social media, paid ads, and/or SEO
Strong written English with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with an Australian-based team
A creative eye and genuine enthusiasm for visual storytelling, with the ability to produce social media content that stops the scroll and feels authentic to the destination
Confident writing long-form content such as blog posts in an established brand voice, working from briefs and direction provided by the team
Solid understanding of social media platforms and Meta Ads Manager
Hands-on experience setting up and managing Google Ads campaigns, including campaign structure, keyword research, ad copywriting, and performance reporting
Comfortable working in WordPress and implementing SEO recommendations from a brief or agency report
Familiarity with email marketing platforms (MailerLite preferred) and basic CRM principles
Strong working knowledge of AI tools, including the ability to build and maintain agent assistants and structure knowledge bases for consistent output
Basic graphic design skills using Canva, Adobe Express, or similar
Highly organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines without close supervision
Reliable internet connection and a dedicated, distraction-free home office setup
A genuine passion for travel is a big plus as it comes through in the work
