About this role
Role Overview
manage and identify customer's needs by developing strategic goals and objectives
perform to an annual quota set by the respective Vice President of Sales / Group Director
capitalize on Ryder Logistics current market sector knowledge
participate in efforts to diversify into strategic verticals
implement customer review and margin improvement process
ensure customer satisfaction and maximize Ryder's EVA
develop relationships with senior management and all buying influences in the customer's organization
prepare strategic account plan using target account selling process
develop complete knowledge and understanding of competitive alternatives in the marketplace
coordinate administrative areas that support the selling activity in a manner which promote teamwork
training and improvement of sales skills, industry knowledge and personal growth needs
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in in Business, Marketing, Transportation or equivalent field
5 years or more in demonstrated consecutive sales excellence (quota achievement) in prior sales responsibilities.
5 years or more in selling B to B solutions and/or achieve quota attainment more than 3 times within a 60-month period.
Proven quota attainment over a period of time.
Noncommercial Driver License CLASS E
