Role Overview
- Assist customers in identifying and providing for their bond needs
- Work directly with clients and carrier representatives in handling the execution and billing of bonds
- Prepare client-specific documents i.e. Prequalification Letters, Affidavits, Bond Authentication Form
- Process billing transactions for Accounting Department
- Interact with clients regarding bond specific needs, i.e., contract documents, bond forms, rating and billing questions
- Interact with surety company representatives in handling transactional related information/issues
- Work within the agency management system’s electronic file management specific to our surety clients
- Continue to pursue professional development as applicable
Requirements
- Insurance license for NY or ability to obtain one upon hire
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency with the MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
- Strong organizational skills and ability to perform in a deadline-driven environment
- Strong commitment to customer service
- High School Diploma
- 3-5 years of surety experience; brokerage experience is a plus
