Maintain a comprehensive overview of your assigned product, ensuring quality, structural integrity, and design alignment.
Assess product performance within the AutoStore`s context, identifying technical gaps and driving broad improvements.
Take an Active role in mechanical designs, including load calculations, FEA analysis, mechanical integrity, etc.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Partners, Product Owners, Project Managers, and R&D teams to meet project objectives.
Lead improvement initiatives by assembling and guiding project teams while fostering a collaborative, cross-disciplinary development culture.
Requirements
10+ years of practical hands-on experience in mechanical design for manufacturing, assembly, and mass production with a degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or any related field.
Proficiency in 3D CAD, FEA simulations, FMEA, ISO GPS, and PLM systems.
Product Development Experience prototyping and designing for processes like sheet metal stamping, die casting, or injection molding, Tolerances using DfA and DfM principles.
The ability to Thrive in Testing and Improvement, material testing, troubleshooting, and driving continuous improvement.
