Associate Director, Field Patient Access, Atlantic Canada

Role Overview

• Help make our medicines and vaccines more accessible to patients across Atlantic Canada.
• Responsible for optimizing public and private access to our medicines in the Atlantic Region.
• Build trusted partnerships with key external stakeholders across the region.
• Translate insights into actionable recommendations that improve patient access.
• Partner with access strategists and health economics colleagues for HTAs and public/private payers submissions.
• Contribute to negotiation strategy development and support negotiations with payers.
• Lead the development and review of provincial product listing agreements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners (marketing, medical, sales, legal, etc.) to resolve complex access situations.

Requirements

• University degree
• Minimum of a Bachelor degree in life sciences, health policy or another relevant field.
• Demonstrated understanding of drug reimbursement processes and stakeholder decision-making.
• Market access experience in the pharmaceutical industry (asset).
• Strategic thinking, business acumen, and willingness to test and learn through innovative approaches.
• Proven ability to solve complex issues with customers and stakeholders.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong sense of collaboration.
• Strong ethics and integrity.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Availability to travel.
