Role Overview
- Oversee Pinterest's global revenue recognition and sales contract processes
- Develop and maintain global revenue recognition policies
- Serve as the subject matter expert and primary contact for all technical revenue recognition matters
- Train cross-functional teams on revenue recognition and related topics
- Partner with Order Management, collections, payment & risks and accounting teams
Requirements
- Deep technical expertise in ASC 606 and related accounting guidance
- Impeccable verbal and written communication skills
- Strong collaboration skills and a record of building effective partnerships
- Demonstrated experience using AI to accelerate technical research or accounting operations
- Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of progressive accounting experience or minimum 10+ years of experience in revenue recognition
- Certified public accountant preferred.
