About this role
Role Overview
Support the immediate supervisor by assisting with work organization, operational planning, and special initiatives
Develop, implement, and monitor the unit’s action plan, ensuring alignment with the organization’s strategic priorities and other administrative units within a performance management framework
Establish management and communication practices that support change management, talent attraction and retention, skills development, employee engagement, and diversity in accordance with Desjardins’ values
Define and oversee the delivery of the unit’s services and ensure assigned projects are completed to maximize targeted business results and ensure member and client satisfaction
Support the administrative unit’s action plan by effectively managing individual and team performance
Continuously improve the processes for which you are responsible
Promote Desjardins Group’s cooperative values
Represent the organization and conduct business intelligence activities
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in law
A minimum of ten years of relevant experience
Knowledge of French is required
Member of the Barreau du Québec (Quebec Bar)
Strong oral and written communication skills in both French and English
