Role Overview
- Provide strategic legal advice to stakeholders and executive leadership
- Draft, review, and negotiate a large volume of contracts
- Identify and address legal and commercial risks in contracts
- Successfully manage and resolve contract disputes and litigation matters
- Mentor and provide guidance to other legal department members
Requirements
- College degree and juris doctorate from accredited law school
- Licensed to practice law in good standing
- Minimum 15 years of relevant experience including experience with a multinational company and in healthcare or a healthcare-adjacent industry
- Superior verbal, written, and presentation skills
- Strong knowledge of key legal concepts and negotiation tactics
- Strong experience with contract management software and other technology tools
- Thorough understanding of HIPAA, privacy law and information security considerations as they relate to contracting
