Customization & Configuration: Act as the primary point of contact for team-specific Jira requests. This includes creating and managing custom projects, issue types, fields, workflows, and screens.
Agile Consulting: Advise teams on how to best structure their boards (Scrum vs. Kanban) based on their specific delivery style.
Metric Stewardship: Guide teams on tracking and interpreting standard Agile metrics to improve predictability and performance.
User Support & Training: Troubleshoot access issues, provide "how-to" guidance for new users, and maintain internal documentation on Jira best practices.
System Health: Manage global settings, scheme associations, and marketplace plugins while ensuring the instance remains clean and performant.
Requirements
Jira Expertise: Proven experience in Jira Software administration (Cloud or Data Center), including complex workflow transitions and validator/condition logic.
Agile Proficiency: Deep understanding of Scrum and Kanban ceremonies and artifacts.
Analytical Mindset: Ability to configure and explain the value of: Velocity Charts and Burn-down/up Charts (for Scrum). Cumulative Flow Diagrams (CFD) and Cycle/Lead Time (for Kanban).
Communication: Exceptional ability to translate a team's messy "pain points" into a streamlined technical solution.
Great to have: Experience with JIRA Cloud.
Knowledge of Atlassian Intelligence features or automation rules.
Atlassian Certified Professional (ACP) certification.
