Role Overview
- Responsible for translating operational needs into logistical actions
- Mitigating risks and ensuring data integrity throughout the supply chain
- Coordinate the inbound and outbound flow of goods, materials, and equipment
- Partner with transportation providers to schedule shipments
- Monitor real-time tracking of shipments and proactively communicate progress
- Collaborate with departments to align logistics with operational needs
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of shipments
- Prepare detailed reports for management regarding shipping performance
- Troubleshoot logistics issues and ensure timely resolution
- Serve as a liaison between internal teams and external partners
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain coordination (manufacturing experience preferred)
- Strong understanding of various transportation modes, including LTL, FTL, and parcel
- Expertise in shipping documentation and logistics processes
- Proficient in logistics or ERP systems
- Experience using a Transportation Management System (TMS) considered a plus
