About this role
Role Overview
Drive the roadmap and delivery plan aligned with strategy/OKRs.
Support prioritization.
Contribute to discovery and business cases.
Track benefits and KPIs at the portfolio level.
Implement appropriate governance and results-oriented executive reporting.
Build and maintain an integrated plan (scope, schedule, costs, quality).
Ensure IT/business alignment, compliance/auditability, and adherence to standards.
Oversee change management with Value Stream PMs.
Orchestrate cross-functional delivery.
Manage dependencies, risks, and trade-offs.
Manage budgets and capacity.
Facilitate ceremonies.
Track decisions, risks, and actions.
Promote continuous improvement; coach PMs/Leads.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business, information systems or any combination of equivalent education and experience.
More than 8 years managing complex programs/portfolios with multiple stakeholders and distributed teams.
Excellent communication skills and ability to present to executives (C-level/SVP).
Experience leading teams (20+ people) and supervising Project Managers.
Proficiency with waterfall, agile, and hybrid approaches; contribution to Agile transformations.
PMP required.
Insurance experience is considered an asset.
No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.
