Adoption Specialist – Case Manager

Role Overview

• Provide case management services to children, families, and potential adoptive families
• Conduct intensive search and recruitment efforts for children awaiting adoption
• Develop and maintain child-focused recruitment plans
• Communicate monthly with custodial caseworkers to review recruitment progress
• Submit monthly data in the WWK database and collaborate with various stakeholders

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in social work or a related human services field
• One year of experience providing casework services to children or families
• Experience as a foster/adoptive parent could substitute for formal casework experience
• Strong knowledge of office and records administration techniques and procedures
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, Teams)
• Knowledge of relevant policies and procedures for safety and protection
