Role Overview
- Supply the nuclear generating fleet with competent personnel
- Maintain training programs to satisfy INPO and regulatory agency requirements
- Provide effective instruction and evaluation
- Develop/update training materials for technical accuracy
- Interface with internal groups and external agencies
- Support assessments and training audits
- Maintain qualifications for various classes and services
- Support Duke Energy refueling outages if required
- Must maintain unescorted nuclear plant access
Requirements
- High School/GED degree
- 2 years related work experience
- Bachelors degree in Engineering (desired)
- 5 years related work experience (in addition to desired degree)
- Demonstrated leadership qualities
- Effective written and oral communication
- Ability to establish effective working relationships
- Good working knowledge of regulatory training requirements
- Five years instructional experience
- In-depth knowledge of the INPO Accreditation process and NRC requirements
- Thorough understanding of the Systematic Approach to Training
- Good computer skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams)
