Provide expert VAT advisory support to business units across MENAT.
Assess VAT implications of new business initiatives, contracts, and transactions.
Monitor legislative changes and proactively advise leadership on impacts and required actions.
Oversee timely and accurate VAT filings across multiple MENAT jurisdictions.
Ensure compliance with local VAT regulations, documentation standards, and audit requirements.
Develop and maintain internal VAT policies, controls, and process improvements.
Lead end‑to‑end VAT refund processes, ensuring timely submission and follow‑up with authorities.
Resolve refund‑related queries and escalate issues when necessary.
Act as the primary point of contact for VAT audits, inquiries, and clarifications.
Prepare and manage responses to tax authority requests in Arabic and English.
Build strong working relationships with tax authorities across the region.
Prepare regular VAT dashboards and key metrics for senior leadership.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax law, or related field; professional certifications (e.g., CTA, CPA, ACCA) are an advantage.
8+ years of VAT experience, preferably within the MENAT region.
Experience working with Big 4 firms or regional tax authorities is strongly recommended.
Proven track record in VAT advisory, compliance, and audit management.
Strong understanding of VAT frameworks in GCC and broader MENAT jurisdictions.
Fluency in Arabic (mandatory) and strong English communication skill.
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work in a fast‑paced, cross‑border environment.
