Lead the engineering teams responsible for Credit, Guarantees and Cards solutions, ensuring continuous technical evolution, stability, and strategic alignment;
Ensure smooth integration and communication between engineering, product, and business teams, aligning delivery quality with the project's initial expectations;
Develop people and teams by promoting technical mentorship, a culture of feedback, autonomy, and ownership;
Ensure engineering excellence through best practices, code reviews, test automation, CI/CD, and observability;
Support architectural decisions for legacy and new systems, focusing on reuse, modularity, and performance;
Manage technical performance, quality, and productivity metrics for the squads under your responsibility;
Plan technical capacity and the team's growth and evolution;
Support regulatory projects or external partner initiatives by acting as a technical facilitator with business areas;
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Requirements
Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields;
Previous experience leading engineering teams in regulated environments (banks, fintechs, payment processors);
Proven track record delivering complex projects in Credit, Guarantees, and/or Cards;
Demonstrated ability to lead technical people (developers, tech leads, specialist engineers);
Structured thinker with clear communication and strong collaboration with technical and business stakeholders;
Ability to make data-driven decisions, combining technical pragmatism with organizational strategy;
Knowledge of Insurance and Investments is a plus.
Strong backend development knowledge (Node.js, TypeScript, JavaScript);
Experience with modern architectures: microservices, RESTful APIs, messaging (SQS, SNS), and serverless (Lambda);
Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (MySQL, Amazon Aurora, DynamoDB);
Hands-on experience in 100% AWS cloud environments, with a focus on scalability and observability (CloudWatch, ALB, NLB);
Experience integrating with partner systems (e.g., Matera, Salesforce) and consuming external APIs;
Familiarity with complex financial products such as Insurance and Investments is desirable;
Understanding of anti-fraud engineering principles, application security, and reliability.
