Principal AIOps Engineer

Role Overview

• Lead the AIOps strategy, roadmap, and operating model
• Own the observability-to-AIOps pipeline
• Design and implement event intelligence
• Advise operations, service owners, and leadership stakeholders
• Develop ServiceNow-centric AIOps integrations
• Establish governance for operational AI
• Build and operationalize agentic AI workflows
• Enable closed-loop automation and self-healing
• Partner with NOC/SOC, infrastructure, and application owners
• Create enablement materials and coach teams

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in SRE, production operations supporting highly available services
• Proven technical leadership
• Strong programming/scripting skills (Python preferred)
• Experience integrating observability platforms
• Strong ServiceNow experience
• Automation & Integration Engineering: Python (preferred)
• AIOps, ITSM/ITOM (ServiceNow) & Agentic AI Ecosystem knowledge
• Operational ML/Analytics: anomaly detection and time-series analysis
