Physical Therapist – Acute Care

Role Overview

• Performs examinations, evaluations, and establishes plans of care including goals and recommendations for discharge
• Provides daily treatment to promote functional independence and modifies treatment programs
• Performs documentation in EHR
• Coordinates/communicates with interdisciplinary team
• Participates in program improvement, clinical education, and customer service standards

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy if graduated prior to 2002 OR Master’s degree in Physical Therapy if graduated prior to 2016 OR Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy
• Licensed as a Physical Therapist by the Arkansas State Board of Physical Therapy or eligible for licensure
• 2 years of experience in Physical Therapy (preferred)
• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (preferred)
• Experience as a PT in an acute care setting (preferred)
• Current AHA BLS (must obtain certification within 30 days of starting in this position)
