Applies instructional design, cognitive psychology, and adult learning theory to develop solutions for knowledge or performance gaps
Analyzes and organizes content, designs learning solutions, and creates storyboards, scripts, performance support materials, mobile learning, and manuals
Collaborates with subject matter experts to assess learning needs and provide input for course content
Writes learning goals, coordinates performance assessments to measure training effectiveness, and ensures course materials are current and aligned with training needs
Tracks and analyzes training program effectiveness through learner satisfaction, proficiency testing, and job performance improvement
Provides instruction and guidance to facilitators
Utilizes social media and collaborative tools to facilitate learning
Shapes and develops training curriculum, materials, and job aids to meet specific training needs
Conducts needs analyses with clients to determine the necessity and relevance of learning solutions
Influences departmental strategy and makes decisions on technical approaches for project components
Exercises considerable latitude in determining goals and approaches to assignments, performing work independently
Requirements
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
At least 3 years of experience learning design, focused on adult learners
Minimum 2 years in a consumer-facing position, demonstrating customer orientation
Proficiency with Articulate 360, including Storyline and Rise
Demonstrated experience with eLearning strategies and adult learning theories
Experience with contributing to continuous improvement of member and customer experiences (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams) or equivalent tools
