Design and deploy cloud infrastructure using core GCP services such as Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, IAM, VPC, and Cloud CDN, ensuring high availability and fault tolerance.
Deploy, manage, and scale Container orchestration systems using Google's Managed Container Orchestration Platform, ensuring high availability, secure networking, and efficient resource utilization.
Develop secure, compliant GCP environments by configuring IAM roles/policies, Service Accounts, Workload Identity Federation, Cloud KMS encryption, firewall rules, and Private Service Connect.
Implement Workload Identity to enable secure, keyless authentication between GKE workloads and GCP services, eliminating the need for service account keys.
Manage Service Accounts with least-privilege principles, including key rotation policies and access reviews.
Configure logging, monitoring, and alerting with Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Logging, and Security Command Center to support observability and incident response.
Enforce security and compliance controls via IAM policy audits, Service Account audits, patching schedules, and automated backup strategies.
Monitor infrastructure health, respond to incidents, and maintain SLAs through proactive alerting and runbook execution.
Collaborate with data science teams to deploy machine learning models using Vertex AI, managing model training, hosting, and monitoring.
Automate and schedule data processing workflows using Cloud Dataflow, Cloud Composer (Apache Airflow), Cloud Functions, and Cloud Scheduler to support ML pipelines.
Optimize infrastructure for cost and performance using Cloud Monitoring metrics, auto-scaling, Committed Use Discounts, and Sustained Use Discounts.
Write and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or Google Cloud Deployment Manager for repeatable, automated infrastructure deployments.
Implement disaster recovery, backups, and versioned deployments using Cloud Storage versioning, Cloud SQL snapshots, and Deployment Manager templates.
Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines using GCP services like Cloud Build, Artifact Registry, and Cloud Deploy to support application and model deployments.
Manage and optimize real-time inference pipelines using Vertex AI Endpoints, Cloud Run, and Cloud Functions with API Gateway to ensure reliable, scalable model serving.
Support containerized AI workloads using Google's Managed Container Orchestration Platform or Cloud Run, including model serving and microservices for AI-based features.
Maintain secondary proficiency in AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, EKS, SageMaker, IAM roles) to support multi-cloud initiatives and hybrid deployments.
Collaborate with SecOps and SRE teams to uphold security baselines, manage change control, and conduct root cause analysis for outages.
Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and architectural planning to ensure scalable and maintainable cloud infrastructure.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date infrastructure documentation, including architecture diagrams, access control policies, and deployment processes.
Collaborate cross-functionally with application, data, and security teams to align cloud solutions with business and technical goals.
Stay current with GCP, AWS, and AI/ML advancements, suggesting improvements or new service adoption where applicable.
