Fullstack PHP Developer

Role Overview

• Develop and evolve the platform
• Design, develop and maintain backend services in PHP / Symfony
• Participate in the evolution of the payment platform and the integration of new features
• Maintain and improve the quality and readability of the existing codebase
• Design and maintain robust, scalable APIs
• Contribute to technical architecture and technology decisions
• Optimize the performance and stability of services
• Implement and maintain unit and integration tests
• Analyze and resolve production incidents
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development practices
• Apply security best practices related to payment systems

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Significant experience in PHP development (minimum 5 years)
• Proficiency with a modern MVC framework, preferably Symfony
• Experience designing and maintaining RESTful APIs
• Strong foundation in software architecture and object-oriented programming
• Strong knowledge of MySQL and complex SQL queries
• Experience with Git and modern development workflows
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools, including Claude Code
• Experience with Docker
• Good professional proficiency in English
• Experience in the payments industry or financial services (PSP)
