Build and manage a detailed content calendar that keeps the brand posting consistently and on-brand
Identify content gaps and opportunities, and proactively bring ideas to the table
Create engaging short-form video and static content — authentic, human, and never AI-looking
Write captions that connect with moms and parents without sounding salesy
Select cover images, manage thumbnails, and ensure every post looks intentional and polished
Actively find and reach out to influencers and UGC creators in the parenting and lifestyle space
Build a content library and flywheel so fresh, authentic material is always available to publish
Coordinate approvals, repurposing rights, and cross-channel use of creator content
Monitor Instagram analytics and adjust strategy based on engagement and growth trends
Report on what is working and evolve the approach with each content cycle
Requirements
Native or near-native English fluency in both writing and speaking
A compelling portfolio showing real brand ownership — not just posts you were given to schedule
Demonstrably strong visual sensibility and content production skills beyond basic Canva
Hands-on experience running influencer or UGC coordination pipelines
Proven track record owning a social media presence from strategy through execution
Must have prior remote work experience with US or UK-based companies and proficiency with remote tools such as Asana, ClickUp, WhatsApp, or Google Workspace. Applications without this experience will not be considered.
Experience with baby, parenting, family, or lifestyle consumer brands is preferred.
Background working with D2C or subscription-based e-commerce businesses is preferred.
Understanding of the US parenting demographic — what resonates, what turns them off is preferred.
Willingness and comfort with on-camera appearances for content or candidate videos is preferred.
