Technical Functional Lead – Martech

Role Overview

• Participate in all phases of the solution lifecycle: Ideation → Design → Build → Quality → Deployment
• Orchestrate the evolution of requests from functional conception through post-production support.
• Serve as the interface between business and technology, leading elicitation and refinement of functional and non-functional requirements.
• Conduct interviews, workshops and interactive sessions with stakeholders to gain a deep understanding of processes and opportunities.
• Produce and maintain high-quality functional documentation (business rules, flows, acceptance criteria, requirements).
• Support backlog creation and prioritization (epics, features and user stories).
• Ensure traceability and change management throughout the solution lifecycle.
• Act as a technical reference, translating business vision into sustainable technical solutions.
• Ensure adherence to security, reliability, observability, scalability and infrastructure requirements from the design phase.
• Ensure proper compliance with production readiness requirements.
• Provide technical oversight of development, integrations, APIs and flows across Martech platforms.
• Lead engineering best practices, test automation and CI/CD.
• Ensure that functional and technical quality criteria are met before deployment.
• Orchestrate deployment processes with efficiency, traceability and compliance.
• Support validation of deliveries with stakeholders.
• Lead functional and technical knowledge transfer to support teams.
• Monitor technical and business KPIs in post-production.

Requirements

• A degree in Engineering, IT, Business Administration or related fields is a plus.
• Proven experience in functional analysis and technical leadership in complex environments.
• Strong experience with agile methodologies and multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience with Martech, digital platforms, data or marketing.
• Knowledge of security, observability, CI/CD and automation.
• Hands-on experience applying AI to design, engineering or productivity.
• Familiarity with solutions such as Adobe Experience Cloud, SAS CI and Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
