Execute service work according to ABB quality and safety guidelines
Deliver quality customer service by executing service work as per customer order and expectations
Communicate service work timeline and expectations to ensure customer retention
Perform field service tasks including technical issue identification and on-site troubleshooting
Execute installation, maintenance, repairs, and replacements
Support certification processes for Associate Field Service Technicians and Field Service Technicians
Coach technicians and supervise complex site activities
Prepare material lists for service activities and ensure quality standards
Identify potential equipment failures and recommend corrective actions
Build and maintain positive relationships to contribute to customer satisfaction
Identify new sales opportunities and communicate customer needs internally
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology with 6+ years’ experience servicing critical power equipment OR Associates Degree in electrical technology with 8+ years’ experience OR High School Diploma/GED and equivalent work/military experience (10+ years)
Advanced ability to interact and communicate (written and verbal)
Advanced level of ability to use Microsoft Office products
Moderate ability to Project Manage using MS Project or Excel
Advanced ability to write test plans and reports detailing test results
Must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
