Improve partnership with retailers by providing category solutions and insights
Partner with CVS team to develop and execute category reviews and merchandising plans
Provide insights through collection of relevant market trends and shopper research
Drive sales growth by uncovering business opportunities via deep-dive analytics
Ensure data is accurately formed, reported, and error-free through careful review
Provide high quality, unbiased category management recommendations to customer retailers
Collaborate with Customer Development Managers to evaluate the impact of pricing
Work with internal partners to provide voice of customer for go-to-market initiatives
Provide SKU optimization recommendations by providing shopper, category, brand insights
Integrate omnichannel initiatives into analysis of business results
Lead strategic initiatives outside of day-to-day analytical support
Mentor/coach junior members of the team
Requirements
A minimum of a bachelor's degree
At least 2 years prior experience in customer sales, merchandising, analytics or in a consumer products environment
Ability to work effectively within a dynamic, complex matrix, changing environment
Ability to draw key insights that are actionable and will drive growth
Ability to summarize and influence decisions through data
Ability to assess marketplace and various consumer retail business models
Intellectual curiosity and the ability to challenge the status quo and search for creative solutions that can improve the way of doing things; willingness to experiment and pursue new ideas
Advanced Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint skills are required
