About this role
Role Overview
Provide consultative deal pricing support to Sales and internal stakeholders
Review and approve deal price exception requests in accordance with pricing policies
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners involved in deal approvals
Prepare customer-facing documents that accurately reflect approved pricing
Perform financial analysis to evaluate deal profitability
Draft customized contract language for non-standard commercial terms
Ensure consistent and accurate tracking of customer pricing data and proposal iterations
Proactively identify opportunities for profit optimization and process improvement
Perform pricing analysis in support of pricing initiatives
Requirements
Bachelor Degree required
MBA preferred
Solid background working within Pricing, Finance or Accounting.
Experience working collaboratively with sales organizations
Excellent analytical skills and very strong attention to detail
Knowledge of pricing principles and B2B pricing operations
Knowledge of the software/technology industry
Strong communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills including the ability to influence across the organization.
Advanced/Expert Excel skills
