About this role
Role Overview
Provide day-to-day IT support to colleagues
Take a proactive approach in improving existing IT processes and workflows
Manage the company’s IT systems, including configuration, installation, maintenance and monitoring
Advise the Director of IT on the security, performance and effectiveness of the company’s IT systems
Enhance the company’s security posture, and where necessary assist the executive team in managing any security or compliance incidents
Deploy new software and systems and undertake IT maintenance tasks as required
Develop and implement staff training programmes/material
Maintain IT policy documents
Assist with data protection compliance
Undertake any other IT-related tasks as required
Requirements
A minimum of 3 years in front-line IT support roles (with a mixture of Windows and Mac ecosystems) is required.
Security-first mentality
Strong knowledge of and extensive hands-on experience managing, configuring and supporting a Microsoft 365 SaaS environment, including Entra, Exchange Online, Intune and other related products/technologies
Windows and MacOS endpoint management and support skills
Networking fundamentals
Ability to handle confidential information securely and sensitively
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to prepare reports, documentation and training material
Ability to learn new platforms and tools quickly
Understanding of relevant legislation and data processing regulations and how it applies to the business
2 years in a supervisory, senior support or leadership role (desirable).
Experience in training groups of colleagues on IT fundamentals (desirable)
Relevant Microsoft and/or ITIL Foundation certifications or equivalent (desirable)
Experience delivering staff IT training and security awareness programmes (desirable)
Experience managing small capital projects (desirable)
Automation skills (e.g. Power Automate, advanced Excel techniques) (desirable)
Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (desirable)
