Identify and develop new customer opportunities through on-site visits, understanding their challenges and requirements, and proposing technical solutions
Provide the "voice of the customer" feedback to internal business and engineering teams
Monitor and improve aerospace connector penetration and growth by customer, market, and product line
Recommend new products and technologies needed to increase sales in commercial aerospace markets for inclusion on the product roadmap
Develop competitive benchmarking information including products, performance, and trade-offs to highlight potential value-proposition entry points
Lead BOM development for the internal quoting process
Lead customer technical reviews
Support preparation of materials for internal business reviews
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical or Electrical)
3+ years of experience in areas relevant to our business, e.g., wire harnesses and connectors, and end markets such as commercial aerospace
Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems with innovative product solutions
Strong communication skills, including the ability to develop polished visuals (PowerPoint)
