Perform design and engineering of parts and assemblies according to customer requirements and industry standards;
Modify and create 3D models of parts and assemblies;
Prepare and interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications;
Produce 2D drawings from 3D models;
Apply and integrate revisions to technical drawings;
Standardize 3D models and drawings according to applicable standards;
Analyze change requests and propose solutions;
Source required technical documentation when not provided;
Identify root causes and resolve technical issues;
Provide technical support to production and engineering teams;
Write quality procedures;
Verify assembly instruction packages;
Participate in research and development activities;
Share technical knowledge within the team;
Contribute to bids and workload planning;
Understand and apply AS9100 requirements;
Comply with and implement Quality Management System (QMS) procedures;
Serve as the primary point of contact for cabin design activities;
Ensure technical coordination and communication between international teams (notably between Basel and Montreal);
Other related duties as required.

Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint);
Familiarity with First Article Inspection (FAI) processes;
Proficiency with design software (NX and Teamcenter);
Knowledge of MRP systems (SAP);
Knowledge of Mentor Graphics or CorelDRAW (asset);
Familiarity with tools such as AutoCAD, Smarteam, Enovia, MBOM (asset);
Excellent command of English (required);
French and/or German are important assets.
